Upholding the Standard: Why We Gather on February 5th

In the legal world, there is often talk about "the standard." It’s the benchmark of integrity, the unwavering commitment to the rule of law, and the promise that every person who enters a courtroom will be heard with respect and judged with fairness.

For me, upholding that standard isn’t just a professional requirement—it is a personal calling.

As we approach our upcoming event on February 5th at The Q, I’ve been reflecting on the journey that brought me to Division 8. Every step of my career has been a building block for the work I do today as your Associate Circuit Court Judge.

A Foundation of Service and Experience

My path to the bench was paved with years of "boots-on-the-ground" legal work. From my time as an Assistant Prosecutor to my years in private practice with St. Thomas Legal, I’ve seen the law from so many angles. I’ve stood where the litigants stand, and I’ve argued the cases that shape our community’s safety and stability.

Beyond the courtroom, my service in the MO ARNG JAG has instilled in me a disciplined "Duty to Country" that I carry into every docket. Whether it’s serving our veterans through the Mid America Veterans Museum or supporting families through Birthright St. Charles, my goal has always been the same: to serve St. Charles County with the same integrity and faith that guides my life.

Running a campaign while serving on the bench requires a delicate balance. I am deeply committed to doing my job to the best of my ability, which means I often rely on the strength of this community to help carry the message of our campaign forward.
